Julie joined the Stern Mortgage team in 2002, and in 2003 a leading industry trade journal recognized her as one of the “Top New Loan Originators” in the country.

Julie is a member of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB), as well as the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). She is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and has earned her certification as a Mortgage Planning Specialist recognizing her as an expert in the area of mortgage planning, cash flow management, and real estate equity management.

As a native Palo Altan and devoted member of her community, Julie has served on the board of directors for the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club of Palo Alto. Julie makes the mortgage process easy for her clients. She grew up observing her father, Rick, build Stern Mortgage Company into the respected community institution it is today. Julie understands the value of listening to her clients, and works with them to create customized solutions for their unique mortgage lending needs. Her mission is to help her clients carry out debt management strategies in order to build wealth and achieve financial freedom.

Outside of work, she stays busy volunteering at community service projects, painting, and doing various creative art projects. She and her husband Pete share a love for playing golf and caring for their dog, Turbo. When time permits, they enjoy taking trips to Lake Tahoe, or vacationing in Maui.
